About the role

To support the Outlets Buying and Merchandising team in all elements of administration that facilitates the process flow of product into the business and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Admin

  • Support Merchandiser by maximising sales potential through use of reports and responding to requests.
  • Support the Junior Buyer on a day-to-day basis with administration duties for Outlet Buying team.
  • Communicating across departments as a key point of contact and support.

Order Management

  • Maintain the critical path and liaise with Suppliers when needed to identify any issues or changes and communicate to team effectively to resolve.
  • Size and raise Purchase Orders and ensure consistent communication across the team.
  • Constant maintenance of Purchase orders, always ensuring accuracy.

Sample Management

  • Ensure all samples are chased, managed, labelled and in the correct location.
  • Management of samples daily, setting up for key meetings with management and external partners.

Intake Management

  • Update delivery schedule reports on a weekly basis.
  • Assist with any line lists and communications for store transfers.

Promotions

  • Compile line lists for promotions which are to be shared with the business and pricing teams.
  • Update store promotional calendar.

Trading

  • Pull together weekly Monday trade packs and line details.
  • Update daily sales reports.

Commercial awareness

  • Keep up to date with current and future trends to assist with trend boards for new ranges and be aware of competitor activity.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • An understanding and interest in Excel.
  • The ability to build good relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Professional approach, accurate, honest, tactful, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Able to work as part of a wider team.
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for driving own development.
  • A passion for Buying and Accessories.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Aware of current and future trends.
  • Adaptive and flexible to fast paced Retail environment.
