Pastoral Leader – NJC Point 8 – 13 (£23,071 to £24,998 per annum, actual salary paid). 37 hours per week, Term Time Only. Required: As soon as possible.

Our team of talented staff are friendly and professional, fully committed to the educational, pastoral, and well-being needs of our students. We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Leader to collaborate with Heads of Year, Pastoral Leaders and other colleagues to improve attainment and progress for all students. This will include leading on behaviour, attendance and welfare issues for identified year groups and being the first point of contact for parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead on behaviour, attendance and welfare issues for identified year groups and act as the first point of contact for parents and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with Heads of Year and other colleagues to improve attainment and progress for all students.
Qualifications and experience:
  • At least three years’ experience of working with young people in a secondary school.
  • Good academic standard of general education to A Level/NVQ Level 3 with a relevant qualification in office administration.
  • Experience liaising with parents and external agencies; computer literate; ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
