The Duke of Yorks Royal Military School is looking to appoint a proactive and creative Marketing Graduate to join the Marketing and Admissions Team. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the Schools marketing strategy through content creation, social media, digital campaigns, website updates, events, and communications.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to develop a career in marketing, with opportunities to create engaging content, analyse campaign performance, and help showcase the Schools vibrant community. For candidates interested in contributing to wider School life, there is also the opportunity to take on additional boarding responsibilities for an additional allowance and potential on-site accommodation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of day-to-day marketing activities, including website updates, content creation, and campaign support.
- Plan and schedule organic and paid social media activity in line with the marketing strategy and content calendar.
- Assist with the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, digital content, publications, and events to promote the School.
- Create engaging written, video, and visual content for channels including social media, blogs, news stories, and press releases.
- Ensure all marketing content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the Schools brand and tone of voice.
- Monitor marketing performance using analytics and CRM tools to identify opportunities for improvement and engagement.
- Support marketing communications, including email campaigns, enquiries, and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of events, including occasional evening, weekend, overnight, and off site commitments.
- Work flexibly to capture out-of-hours content and provide wider support to the Marketing and Admissions Team as required.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role working 37 hours per week across 35 weeks of the year, plus holiday entitlement. Due to the nature of the role, a flexible working pattern is required, including regular evening and weekend work, to capture and showcase the full life of the boarding school community at its best. The salary for the role is DYR 3.10 £24,520 FTE (£18,811 pro rata), plus an additional allowance of £6,953 for boarding and extracurricular responsibilities.
