The Medical Centre Administrator will provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Medical Centre team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.
They will assist clinical staff in delivering high-quality care to students, coordinating appointments, managing communications with parents and staff, and maintaining accurate records within a busy boarding school environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Medical Centre.
Manage appointments, clinics, referrals, reviews, and follow-up actions.
Process medical correspondence and communicate relevant information to staff and parents.
Coordinate external medical appointments, including transport and student escorts.
Liaise with parents, School staff, GPs, hospitals, pharmacies, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
Support the nursing team with clinic coordination and day-to-day administrative processes.
Assist with student admissions by reviewing medical information and following up outstanding documentation.
Coordinate vaccination and immunisation programmes with external providers.
