Responsibilities
- Closely manage relationships with partner organisations (Licensed Organisations – LOs) to ensure the delivery of quality and inclusive DofE programmes.
- Identify and develop new relationships with educational and community organisations to widen access to the DofE within the North Essex portfolio area.
- Conduct regular meetings, in person and virtually, engaging a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels.
- Maintain excellent administrative support, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and keep accurate records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Team player with a passion for young people’s development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise, meet deadlines and work independently.
- Computers literate, proficient in MS Office applications.
- Positive outlook and proactive contribution to the team.
- Must live within or very close to the North Essex portfolio area, hold a full driving/motorbike licence and have access to a vehicle.

Safeguarding
The DofE is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (e.g., DBS/PVG or similar), provide references covering any gaps of employment/education, confirm eligibility to work in the UK and complete a health check.
Geographical Allowance
The geographical allowance is based on a staff member having a home or office postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
