Responsibilities

  • Closely manage relationships with partner organisations (Licensed Organisations – LOs) to ensure the delivery of quality and inclusive DofE programmes.
  • Identify and develop new relationships with educational and community organisations to widen access to the DofE within the North Essex portfolio area.
  • Conduct regular meetings, in person and virtually, engaging a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels.
  • Maintain excellent administrative support, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and keep accurate records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Team player with a passion for young people’s development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise, meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Computers literate, proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Positive outlook and proactive contribution to the team.
  • Must live within or very close to the North Essex portfolio area, hold a full driving/motorbike licence and have access to a vehicle.

All successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (e.g., DBS/PVG or similar), provide references covering any gaps of employment/education, confirm eligibility to work in the UK and complete a health check.

Geographical Allowance

The geographical allowance is based on a staff member having a home or office postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
