Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and highly skilled Assistant General Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group. We're looking for a service-focused DGM for the Duchess of Kensington, a recent new opening that has out-stripped all expectations, particularly on food.
The ideal candidate should enjoy premium service, have a good knowledge of fresh food and seasonality, and enjoy selling good wine and enhancing dining experiences, as well as having all the core skills of a pub deputy general manager.
The Role: As Deputy General Manager you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business. Your team will look up to you, it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager
- Solid communication and organisational skills
- Superb customer & floor service skills
- Strong all-round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction
- Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team
- Personal License holder beneficial
