We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help us deliver smart, effective campaigns that connect with our audiences and drive commercial success. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with our Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering well-planned marketing activities across our portfolio—including awards, events, digital, and research products.

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing global marketing strategies that grow our customer base, shape product positioning, and support revenue goals. From planning campaigns and working with data to reach the right people, to supporting award entries, event attendance, and sponsorship sales—this is a hands-on, varied role with real impact.

We’re looking for someone with B2B marketing experience, strong campaign know-how, and a collaborative, commercially minded approach. You’ll be working with teams across sales, design, editorial, data, and events—so being organized, proactive, and a great communicator is key.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering revenue targets across The Drum’s full suite of products and services.
  • Plan and execute multichannel marketing campaigns for events, awards, editorial features, and commercial initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver effective, customer-focused sales and marketing plans tailored to global and regional priorities, with a focus on growth in the US.
  • Create compelling copy and marketing assets in collaboration with the Design team, ensuring alignment with The Drum’s tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Manage the setup and execution of marketing activations—including email campaigns, landing pages, and other campaign components.
  • Collaborate with the Data team to ensure the right audience segments are being reached through the most effective channels.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, audience engagement, and ROI using relevant analytics tools.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders—including editorial, commercial, design, production, and events teams—to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals.
  • Help shape product positioning and define product packages and solutions for key markets.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the industry, including with customers, partners, trade bodies, and influencers.
  • Support audience development and community engagement through targeted outreach and partnerships.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of audience, customers, and revenue across all markets.
  • Provide on-site marketing support at The Drum’s awards and events when required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested.
Minimum requirements include:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within media, publishing, or a creative agency environment.
  • The ability to create and deliver effective, customer-focused sales and integrated marketing plans.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Solid understanding of digital channels and marketing tech (e.g., CRM, SEO, email platforms, analytics tools).
  • A creative thinker with a passion for marketing, media, and culture.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive, can-do attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data to support decisions.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot (preferred).
  • Experience using Canva and Foleon (a plus).
