With ambitious growth plans and a strong focus on commercial performance, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial business at a pivotal stage in its journey.

As Head of Sales, you will lead and deliver DRG’s group sales strategy across its portfolio of brands and locations. This is a highly commercial leadership role, combining hands-on sales delivery with business development, team leadership and strategic planning. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will lead a regional team of Sales Executives across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Aberdeen, while also personally driving corporate sales, partnerships, group bookings and wider commercial opportunities.

You will play a key role in increasing pre-booked revenue, developing long-term business relationships, growing brand awareness in local markets and creating a high-performing, commercially driven sales culture across the team. This role would suit a highly proactive, relationship-led sales professional with strong hospitality experience, leadership capability and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the group sales strategy across DRG’s portfolio of brands and locations
  • Drive pre-booked revenue growth through corporate sales, partnerships, events and group bookings
  • Lead, coach and develop a regional team of Sales Executives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses and key partners
  • Identify and deliver new commercial opportunities across the group
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, Marketing and Commercial teams to maximise sales performance
  • Track, analyse and report on sales performance, pipeline activity and KPIs
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a senior hospitality sales, events or business development role
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing, mentoring and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong networking, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland and the North of England
