About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled combination tanker driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while working at various building site locations throughout the West Midlands. This role primarily involves operating Combination Vacuum Tankers, cleaning drains and sewers, emptying sewerage pump stations, and unblocking gullys and drains, ensuring health and safety compliance and adherence to all road regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Liaising with the operational team on all aspects of work.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the lorry, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road.
Skills
- Experience in operating combination vacuum tankers.
- Experience in cleaning pipes, sewers, and gullys.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately and work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
