The DPG
WE’RE HIRING: ONETRUST IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT
Role: Privacy Implementation Consultant
Location: Hybrid, with two days per month in our Milton Keynes office
Salary: £42,000–£50,000, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per weekReporting to: Chief Trust Officer
Privacy programmes rarely stall because the strategy is wrong. They stall because nobody turns that strategy into who does what, on which system and by when.
That’s where you come in.
The DPG is looking for an experienced OneTrust Implementation Consultant to translate agreed privacy, consent and AI governance designs into practical solutions that work.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You’ll take implementations from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, user acceptance, go-live and handover.
Most of our current work is delivered through OneTrust. We are also partners of Transcend and MineOS, and we’ll fund your training and enablement on both platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Configuring OneTrust environments across modules including data mapping and inventory, DPIAs, RoPAs, data subject rights, consent and preference management, third-party risk and AI governance
• Leading requirements and configuration workshops with privacy, legal, IT and business stakeholders
• Producing clear solution designs and implementation documentation
• Supporting integrations with client systems, including single sign-on, user provisioning, CRMs, marketing platforms and data sources
• Preparing test scripts, supporting user acceptance testing and resolving defects
• Managing implementations through go-live, hypercare and handover
• Training and coaching client administrators throughout delivery
• Managing two to four client projects at different stages
• Maintaining accurate RAID logs, time records, trackers and project reporting
• Supporting the scoping and estimation of new work
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Hands-on OneTrust implementation experience is essential. You must have configured the platform yourself rather than only used or managed a completed system.
You’ll also need:
• Experience of delivering at least two OneTrust implementations from requirements through to go-live
• Experience delivering client-facing projects for external clients
• Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and complex technical dependencies
• Experience managing several projects at the same time
• A working understanding of APIs, single sign-on, certificates and networking
• Practical knowledge of UK GDPR, data subject rights, RoPAs and DPIAs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The confidence to lead senior client meetings and raise risks early
• The right to work in the UK
• Availability to attend our Milton Keynes office twice each month and travel occasionally to UK client sites
Experience of Transcend, MineOS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Consent Mode, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, AWS, Docker or Terraform would be welcome but is not essential.
