An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and organised professional to join The Bloomsbury as our People & Culture Manager. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the People & Culture function and play a key role in promoting employee wellbeing and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess solid HR knowledge and experience in a similar role, be highly skilled at multitasking, with strong organisational abilities, resourcefulness, and a genuine passion for Human Resources. Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organisational skills, combined with a strategic mindset, are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the performance management system and processes
  • Ensuring company policies comply with local employment laws
  • Handling employee relations matters
  • Setting and reviewing pay structures, employee benefits, and perks
  • Managing employee sick leave, holidays, and personal time off
  • Developing career paths and promotion plans
  • Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll and controlling labour costs within budget
  • Running day‑to‑day HR operations smoothly and efficiently
  • Supporting management with performance reviews and succession planning
