We are seeking a Groups Manager to manage and maximise revenue from group bookings across our London portfolio of hotels: The Marylebone, The Bloomsbury, and The Kensington. In this role, you will be responsible for quoting and processing group reservation enquiries, and taking every sales opportunity to maximise occupancy and room rate. You will lead in an energetic and motivated fashion, thinking of creative ways to enhance the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To manage the group department by handling group room requests.
  • Achieve revenue and KPI targets set and agreed upon on a monthly/quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Oversee the management of the group's executive, including goal setting & monitoring, proactivity, administration and database management, undertaking weekly 1:1’s with assigned executives and coordinators.
  • Undertake frequent communication with the General Managers of each property.
  • Assist in on-the-job training and development at the executive level, to raise the level of performance within the Groups team.
  • Assist Director of Events with the creation and maintenance of department SOP’s (Standard Operating Processes).
  • Prepare groups reporting weekly/monthly/quarterly and assist the Director of Events with group reporting and insights when required.
  • Prepare and send proposals and contracts.
  • Proactively approach past clients and bookers to boost business.
