The perfect opportunity for a self-motivated and dedicated Accounting Manager with a passion for hotels is now available.
The role of an Accounting Manager represents a fantastic opportunity for an organized candidate to join a friendly team who will help you to progress in a finance role within our group. Working in this role, you would be responsible for the department administration, as well as dealing with agency commissions, credit control administration and reconciliations.
In the role of Accounting Manager, your responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
- Verifying invoices are accurate and posting them to our Accounting Platform.
- Reconciling month end accounts / postings to our payment platform and vendor statements.
- Assisting in the month end close procedures in accordance with set timeframes.
- Training and working with our non-Finance team-mates.
- Assist with resolving guest queries.
- General Cashier duties including regular audit of employee cash floats.
- Prepare day to day accounting reports, including daily cash log and promotion tracking.
You will have the following knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of full service, luxury hotel operations.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience using Opera PMS is preferred.
- Experience using Accounting Software.
- Guest service skills to include critical listening and complaint management.
- Exhibits strong team focus and communication skills.
- Detail orientated.
- Ability to support other positions within the accounting office.
