About the Role
Our Head Pastry Chef is the creative artist of our hotel! Entrusted with caring for every detail in our pastry and bakery production. Though skilfully trained, they never lose sight of their ultimate responsibility, to create lifelong memories for our guests.
What you'll do
- Lead, train and motivate a high performing Pastry team that understands their role in delivering the very best culinary experience and refined attention to detail.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful culture that brings the best out of people.
- Deliver joy to our guests through precision and execution in everything that is produced in house.
- Lead the creativity including one of a kind masterpieces at Cake and flowers, the artistry of our afternoon tea, show stopping amenities in our suites and much more.
- Communicate with other departments and extended hotel team to ensure alignment remains.
