As Cake & Flowers Shop Supervisor, you'll love what you do and take pride in taking care of our guests:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Cake & Flower Shop, ensuring smooth service, team coordination, and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Support the production and presentation of cakes, pastries, floral arrangements, and bespoke guest gifting items, ensuring they meet the highest visual and quality standards.
  • Manage and fulfil guest orders, offering personalised advice and assistance while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supervise the team on shift, offering guidance, training, and ensuring adherence to service and product standards.
  • Assist in inventory control, maintaining stock levels of key items and liaising with suppliers when required.
  • Ensure the shop’s displays are regularly refreshed, aligned to brand standards, and reflect current seasonal offerings or promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to support special events, guest celebrations, or corporate gifting requirements.
  • Help maintain records of orders, stock, and supplier deliveries, ensuring efficiency and compliance with administrative processes.
  • Maintain a welcoming, polished environment for guests and ensure the shop floor is consistently immaculate.
  • Support the manager in training new team members and maintaining a culture of creativity, excellence, and five-star hospitality.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or patisserie service environments.
  • A keen eye for presentation, detail, and personalisation, with a passion for luxury gifting and guest delight.
  • Experience supporting a team and stepping into supervisory responsibilities, including training, quality checks, and daily operations.
  • Comfortable handling guest orders, special requests, and coordination with other hotel teams.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of floral design, cake production, or gift preparation.
  • Understanding of stock control processes, supplier coordination, or boutique administration.
  • Confidence using point-of-sale or order management systems.
