When you join us as a Degree Apprentice at The Dorchester Hotel, you will have a unique opportunity to excel in your field. You will learn from your fellow Legends and our award-winning learning academy to achieve the highest standards in craft, service, and leadership.

What you’ll do

As a Degree Apprentice, you'll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • You’ll have the opportunity to complete a fully funded BA (Hons) Degree in Project Management without the student debt! On successful completion, you will be eligible to become a full member of the Association for Project Management (APM), the Chartered Body for the Project Profession.
  • All while gaining hands-on experience in Luxury 5-star hospitality.
  • 6 month rotations in Food & Beverage and Rooms division in your first 2 years and your choice of specialism for your 3rd and final year.
  • Your training plan will include:
    • 36 months practical training period and 3-6 months for the End Point Assessment
    • 1 study day a week based in London

The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Degree Apprentice, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel. The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change.

What you’ll bring

  • Essential Skills and Experience: GCSE English Language & Maths (grade 9 - 4 (A*- C))
  • Keen interest in Luxury Hospitality and Guest Service
  • Strong verbal communication skills – English is the primary language used in our hotel.
