What you'll do

As a Director of Communications & PR, you will be the guardian of Dorchester Collection’s brand reputation across our three distinguished UK properties: The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane, and Coworth Park. This role shapes the public voice of the hotels, leading all communication, public relations, social media, and strategic partnership efforts that enhance visibility, protect brand integrity, and position each hotel as a leader in luxury hospitality.

You will act as both a strategist and brand storyteller, developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that resonate with UHNWI audiences and align with the overarching vision of Dorchester Collection. This role demands a sophisticated understanding of luxury media landscapes, influencer relations, and brand collaborations, with the ability to navigate reputational challenges with grace and precision.

You will work in close collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Digital, and Global Communications teams, leading media relations, overseeing social media strategy and content, and guiding the positioning of each property across owned, earned, and shared channels. A confident and trusted voice, you will serve as a key spokesperson, thought leader, and brand ambassador for the UK hotels.

  • A strong relationship across key media, agencies, influencer and luxury brand relations.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful national and international publicity campaigns.
  • Exceptional creative writing and editing skills.
  • Experience managing high profile social media channels and reputation management skills.
  • A dynamic communicator, strategic thinker with a deep knowledge of the luxury landscape.
