As an Assistant Director of Engineering you will love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
- Responsible for ensuring the Engineering maintenance is compliant with legislation, protects public safety and hotel equipment.
- Mobilising and inspiring the Engineering team members and supervisors to build a high performing team to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- Managing operational costs and profitability and driving improvement in guest satisfaction.
- Monitoring and improving Engineering practices, policies and procedures to ensure a seamless 24/7 operation and Engineering service.
- Supporting the whole engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, wellbeing and personal development.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Engineering or Building Services, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
- Extensive experience in areas such as construction, plumbing, carpentry, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
