As an Assistant Director of Engineering, you will have a unique opportunity to become celebrated as the very best in your field. What you’ll do:
- Ensure the Engineering maintenance is compliant with legislation, protects public safety and hotel equipment.
- Mobilise and inspire the Engineering team members and supervisors to build a high performing team.
- Manage operational costs and profitability while driving improvement in guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and improve Engineering practices, policies, and procedures to ensure a seamless 24/7 operation.
- Support the engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, wellbeing, and personal development.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Engineering or Building Services, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
- Extensive experience in areas such as construction, plumbing, carpentry, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
