What you’ll do

  • Responsible for ensuring the Engineering maintenance is compliant with legislation, protects public safety and hotel equipment.
  • Mobilising and inspiring the Engineering team members and supervisors to build a high performing team to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • Managing operational costs and profitability and driving improvement in guest satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and improving Engineering practices, policies and procedures to ensure a seamless 24/7 operation and Engineering service.
  • Supporting the whole engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, wellbeing and personal development in partnership with the Area Director of Engineering.

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Engineering or Building Services, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
  • Extensive experience in areas such as construction, plumbing, carpentry, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
