Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role in the Greater Portsmouth Area for a Night Porter / Security staff member. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security ofabba residents and the premises during the night beep. The role requires regular security checks, responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies, assisting residents or visitors as needed, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor to uphold the community atmosphere of The Dolphin.
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents and handle inquiries professionally.
Experience as a gatekeeper or in a similar security role to ensure the safety and monitoring of the premises.
Capability to provide training and education to residents on safety protocols and emergency procedures, if needed.
Ability to remain alert and attentive during night shifts and handle situations calmly under pressure.
A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently and responsibly.
Prior experience in a security or hospitality‑related role is an advantage.
