Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical centre leadership.
This is a casual position working on an as‑needed basis.
Schedule
Weekend work and up to 8 pm are required.

Qualifications
A current New Zealand practising certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable).
Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care.
Urgent care and GP experience (desirable).
Practice aligns with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions.
Able to work at either clinic and smoothly and efficiently slip into the roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
Current CPR certificate.
Immunisation and smear taker certificates desirable but not essential.
Computer literate.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
