The Doctors Medical Centres is New Zealand’s largest network of GPs and primary healthcare providers, trusted by over 400,000 Kiwis.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours across 5 days per week from Monday to Friday.

  • About the position and responsibilities

As a receptionist you will report to the Medical Centre Manager and will enjoy exposure to all of the following and more:

  • Greeting and checking in patients on arrival.
  • Thriving in a busy environment.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Booking appointments on phone and in person.
  • Invoicing and collecting fees from patients.
  • Administrative tasks as needed. Cash handling.

The successful applicant will be flexible with hours, methodical with a systems orientation, and have a good head for numbers as well as good people skills.

  • Experienced in administration and working in teams.
  • Experienced in healthcare (preferably).
  • Focused.
  • Friendly.
  • Reliable.
  • Experienced in Medtech Evolution.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Team orientated.
  • A professional attitude, great customer service and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Enjoy working in a diverse environment.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
