This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at The Doctors Onehunga and The Doctors Mt Roskill to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical centre leadership.

This is a casual position working on an on-call basis.

Qualifications

  • A current New Zealand practising certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
  • Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
  • Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
  • Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions
  • Willing to continually learn and improve
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Immunisation and smear taker certificates desirable but not essential
  • Computer literate
