Healthcare Assistant - Day shifts DRIVER REQUIRED £11.60 - £12.02 per hour + 30% enhancements on weekends
3 x 12-hour shifts per week - 7.45am - 8.45pm

About us:
Stagenhoe is a Brainkind specialist neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire, caring for people aged 18 and over with various neurological conditions. We provide care to optimise health and wellbeing, maximise independence, and support emotional and social needs. Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support and improve the lives of people with neurological conditions or brain injuries. Due to the location, your own transport is required, and we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
About the role:
- Work with team members to ensure optimal cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and functional recovery.
- Implement and reinforce rehabilitation goals, strategies, and procedures.
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, alert senior colleagues to changes, and assist in maintaining morale through communication and contact.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
- Review and suggest improvements to enhance individuals' experiences, challenge practices as appropriate, and support junior and new staff.
- Promote choice in care delivery, facilitate concerns and complaints, and support service users' views and experiences.
- Maintain a safe working environment, ensure confidentiality, and undertake additional reasonable tasks as needed.
About you:
- S/NVQ / QCF Level 2 or relevant training (desirable).
- S/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, with commitment to QCF studies aiming for Level 3.
- Proven team experience and care delivery experience.
- Good communication skills, numeracy, literacy, and IT skills including internet, email, and Word.
Enhancements:
- Night shifts (8.00 pm to 6.00 am): 30%
- Weekend shifts (Friday midnight to Sunday midnight): 30%
- Public Holidays (24 hours): 60%
