Location: Hybrid working based in midlands or north with travel to Brainkind locations as requiredSalary: £36,900- £45,000per annum (dependent on experience)Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and help drive financial performance, informed decision-making, and sustainable growth across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively with operational leaders, influencing decision-making, and turning financial data into meaningful business insight.

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with operational and corporate teams to provide robust financial analysis, budgeting support, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will act as a trusted advisor to budget holders, helping them understand their financial performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes.

You will play a key role in supporting monthly reporting, annual budget setting, forecasting cycles, business cases, and strategic projects across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with budget holders and operational leaders.
• Provide financial insight, support and challenge to aid decision-making.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans.
• Produce and analyse monthly management accounts and variance reports.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analyses.
• Support cost improvement programmes and efficiency projects.
• Monitor project expenditure and provide insightful financial reporting.
• Assist with contract bids, tenders and investment appraisals.
• Contribute to improvements in financial systems, reporting and processes.
• Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

About You

You’ll be a proactive and analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing positive business outcomes.

Essential

• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Management Accountant or similar role.
• Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate it clearly.
• Experience building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable

• Experience within healthcare, social care, charity or not-for-profit sectors.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, agency spend analysis or service performance reporting.
• Experience supporting change, transformation or procurement projects.
