Accounts Receivable Assistant
Location: Burgess Hill
Salary: £24,000 to £28,500 per annum DOE

Main Purpose:
- Processing of Sales Ledger transactions, including daily posting of receipts
- Production of sale invoices and verification of information
- Assisting in month-end processes for Management Accounts, including Occupancy Reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales ledger
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Daily posting and allocation of sales ledger receipts, including banking
- Raising sales invoices (regular and ad hoc)
- Liaising with sites and management to maintain accurate billing and resolve queries
- Investigating and reconciling debtor accounts and related balance sheet accounts
- Monthly Occupancy Reconciliation and related queries
- Assisting with production of accrued and deferred income journals
- Reconciliation of sales ledger-related balance sheet accounts monthly
- Producing and distributing monthly Aged Debt reports
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in support and supervision from line management
- Develop professional knowledge through training, meetings, and conferences
- Attend team and other meetings
- Comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines for good practice
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and report hazards

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Confident with Microsoft Excel
