We have an excellent opportunity for a supervisor to join the team in Belfast's busiest bar - The Dirty Onion! Located in the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast's oldest building, the Dirty Onion is open 7 days a week with live music and great craic! Rate of pay is £14.30 per hour plus discretionary annual bonus opportunity of £500!
The successful candidate should demonstrate previous supervisory experience in a similar busy city centre bar environment, be able to lead and motivate a team, be customer focused and target driven. Most importantly the applicant should be outgoing, well-mannered and love connecting with people. We open 7 days a week and the successful candidate should be open to working weekends and evenings.
It would be ideal for the applicant to show their creative skillset. We would love someone with experience implementing initiatives/creative ideas to increase revenue, be that with music events, art exhibitions with local creatives or other cultural events. Ideally you will also have a working knowledge of food and drink stocktakes and hold an NVQ Level 3 in hospitality leadership/supervision, however this is not essential.
Essential Criteria- 1 year supervisory experience in a similar busy city centre bar
- 2 years supervisor experience in a similar busy city centre bar
- NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Supervisor or Leadership (or similar)
- Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current)
- First Aid Certificate (must be current)
