St Margaret’s Church of England Academy is seeking a committed, flexible and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our thriving school community, commencing January 2026.
About Us
St Margaret’s CofE Academy is a primary school which was rated by Ofsted as good in September 2024 and an Excellent Church School in June 2023 by SIAMS. The school has a strong Christian ethos which drives our entire school family, and we always strive for success. We place great emphasis on high expectations of work and behaviour. The Role
Applicants must be enthusiastic, dedicated to the welfare and achievement of every child, positive and able to work on their own initiative, as well as follow direction from other members of the staff team. You will have:
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years (DfE approved)
- A high standard of written and spoken English
- A calm, positive and patient attitude
- A strong work ethic with flexibility to respond positively to challenges of day to day school life
- Previous experience of working within EYFS or Nursery environment and Key Stage 1
- Previous SEN experience preferable
