ROLE OVERVIEW
To further elevate and enhance our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and details-oriented Barback to contribute and deliver on the club’s success, providing exceptional experiences for our members. This role is essential in ensuring seamless bar operations, continuous support for the bar teams, maintaining impeccable standards, and delivering an exceptional experience to our members and their guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment and takes pride in efficiency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support bartenders in the preparation and service of beverages
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including bar back and storage spaces
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries
- Collect and wash glassware promptly to ensure continuous availability
- Assist in completing bar opening and closing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the bar team
- Uphold the club’s standards of discretion, professionalism, and member service
- Complete any extra tasks directed from the bar team to upkeep the successful operations of the bar department
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in hospitality support role preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organisation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to work collectively
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and remain on feet for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late shifts
- Discreet, professional, and aligned with the standards of a private members’ club
