To support kitchen leadership in building and running the kitchen operation for a brand-new steak and grill restaurant, ensuring delivery of high-quality food and supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations during prep and service
- Support training and development of Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs, and kitchen staff
- Execute menus to specification and maintain consistency and quality
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards across BOH
- Support inventory control, stock rotation and portioning
- Step in to run service efficiently when required
Person Specification – Essential
- 3+ years kitchen experience with supervisory exposure
- Competent with steak & grill cookery or experience in similar cooking environments
- Good leadership, communication, and organisation skills
- Food safety/hygiene certification
Desirable
- Experience with menu development
- Experience in restaurant openings or high-growth concepts
