The Role
The Website Optimisation Manager (Contract) supports ongoing improvement of enterprise website channels, translating marketing, content, and customer experience priorities into actionable inputs for website enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of website optimisation and enhancement initiatives aligned to the channel roadmap.
- Translate marketing, content, and customer experience needs into clear requirements for website enhancements.
- Maintain and manage the marketing-facing website optimisation backlog.
- Work closely with Product Management and IT to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
- Support coordination of website optimisations, new components, and feature improvements.
- Support business acceptance testing (BAT) for website enhancements.
- Ensure changes improve engagement, usability, and user journeys.
- Use website performance data and insights to inform optimisation opportunities.
- Support the build and improvement of web pages within the CMS.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Support content review and maintenance cycles.
- Maintain documentation for consistency and repeatability of updates.
- Act as a point of coordination across teams for website enhancements.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in website optimisation or digital operations.
- Experience working with technical teams on website initiatives.
- Strong understanding of website analytics and digital measurement.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Acquia or Drupal.
- Understanding of content management, page building, and workflows.
- Familiarity with SEO, content structuring, and on-site optimisation.
- Working knowledge of UX and accessibility standards.
