Digital Recruitment Company is currently working with a rapidly growing tech scale-up whose goal is to help people work better. Their software dramatically improves the functionality of Microsoft Office for finance and professional services companies. The Role:

Our client are looking for an SEO expert to help expand their brand’s digital presence, boost organic traffic, and connect with their target audience through high-quality search-optimized content. As SEO Manager, you’ll blend both strong technical SEO and copywriting skills to play a critical role in the marketing strategy. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic and analytical thinker who is passionate about SEO, GEO and content marketing. You will collaborate closely with the Content, Design, and Product teams to ensure their content aligns with search trends, is optimized for performance, and maximizes engagement across all digital channels.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • As part of the Global Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Growth, you’ll be based in their London office, one of their five international hubs. Your role will focus on creating, optimizing, and implementing a comprehensive SEO and GEO strategy across their digital assets.
  • Developing and executing SEO and GEO strategies: Identify, plan, and implement initiatives that align with our clients growth goals, including keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, and backlink building.
  • Work closely with their PPC Manager and benefit from cross-platform collaboration.
  • Content optimization and strategy: Build new, high-impact content based on search intent and keyword opportunities. Collaborate with the Content team to optimize existing content.
  • Performance analysis and reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs. Use insights to refine strategies and drive ongoing improvements.
  • Investigating GEO best practices: Stay ahead of the curve with the evolving practices, helping improve visibility of our content in LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot).
  • Competitor and industry analysis: Conduct SEO audits and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, identify opportunities, and make recommendations for content enhancements.
  • Maintaining overall website health and technical SEO: Become an expert in their CMS (WordPress and Elementor) and become the go-to person within the team for technical validation. Ensure content is up-to-date, error-free and optimised for SEO, focusing on site speed, mobile responsiveness and crawlability. Work closely with other team members (including web devs, and content team) when necessary.
  • Contribute to product launches and campaigns: Guide SEO strategy for product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Support local marketing initiatives: Work closely with the French marketing lead to optimise the SEO strategy for our FR website, improving performance.

Skills and attributes:

  • You must be an excellent writer: Able to build error-free, storytelling copy in their TOV.
  • An SEO expert with hands-on experience: Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
  • Data-driven with an analytical mindset: Able to interpret data to measure SEO success and understand the performance of different types of content.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills: You can prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Collaborative and communicative: Comfortable working cross-functionally with Content, Product, and Sales teams, as well as developers, to achieve shared goals.
  • Proactive and adaptable: You stay updated on the latest SEO and GEO trends and can quickly adapt to changes in search algorithms.

We’d love it if you have:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or tech industries: Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in B2B SEO.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development principles: To assist with technical SEO discussions.
  • Experience with relevant software/platforms: for example, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Elementor, WordPress SEO content strategy experience: Proven success in guiding content creation that improves organic traffic and conversion rates.

Qualifications and experience:

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in SEO with a focus on content optimisation and technical SEO for digital marketing.
