The Role

In this role you will be part of their marketing team, working closely with the editorial and sales teams to market and communicate everything they do - ensuring they are engaging with the right people, in the right way, at the right time, and providing a great member experience.

The role puts you at the heart of all this activity, helping to plan and execute member engagements, creating marketing campaigns, and supporting events.

If you like a mix of both digital and physical marketing, enjoy in-person engagements with customers as well as planning and data analysis; and like being part of a team as well as taking individual responsibility, this is for you.

What will you be doing?

This role has responsibilities in four areas: communications, events, campaigns, and our website.

  • Plan and deliver engaging email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and publish content across Linked In and other digital channels.
  • Promote podcasts, research reports and industry insights.
  • Build relationships with members, sponsors and industry stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer enquiries whilst maintaining an outstanding customer experience.
  • Analyse campaign performance and continually optimise engagement strategies.
  • Marketing & Campaigns
  • Develop targeted communications for different audience segments.
  • Deliver content marketing campaigns that increase awareness and engagement.
  • Support press activity and media outreach.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the organisation's brand and reach.
  • Present campaign performance and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Events
  • Support the planning, promotion and delivery of industry-leading conferences and networking events.
  • Produce event branding, marketing assets and promotional materials.
  • Manage delegate communications and event registrations.
  • Support front-of-house event delivery and sponsor engagement.
  • Take ownership of smaller events from planning through to execution.
  • Website & Digital Content
  • Create and maintain website content.
  • Ensure the website remains accurate, engaging and up to date.
  • Support wider digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels.

Who will you work with?

Your day-to-day manager will be their Campaign and Communications Manager.

You will also work very closely with our Programme Manager, Events Producer, Editorial Director, and Chief Content Officer.

It is a team of fourteen - twelve full time and two part time.

Together they achieve a huge amount, so everyone both takes individual responsibility and works closely with each other.
