We are working with a global private financial firm, who has been focused on delivering superior results for long-term investors using high-conviction portfolios, rigorous research and individual accountability

As our client has grown the number and type of clients in Europe and Asia, they have built training capability for client partnerships, a learning division. This team caters for the learning requirements of two main client cohorts; financial intermediary banker and advisor networks and institutional clients providing product agnostic tools and resources to support successful client conversations and development.

Role:

The Email Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of email marketing initiatives to drive engagement, retention, and growth. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing dy-namics, client segmentation, and data-driven decision-making, ideally in B2B. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of personalized and impactful email campaigns that align with business objectives.

Exciting opportunity to spearhead email marketing strategy and operations at a leading global invest-ment management brand across diverse Asian and European investor segments (institutional, inter-mediary, retail). Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Client Experience for the region, you\’ll collabo-rate with marketing specialists across 12 markets, working closely with content, data and marketing technology teams.

Primary Responsibilities and essential functions:

  • Orchestrate the planning and delivery of Asian and European email campaigns, spanning direct response, automated customer journeys, and essential updates, working with a broad range of internal partners.
  • Develop and maintain customer journeys and automated workflows to nurture leads and drive conversions
  • Uphold adherence to local regulations, industry best practices, and brand guidelines in all email communications.
  • Design and drive execution of targeted, client-centric email campaigns, including newsletters, fund launches, ongoing investment related updates, and funnel support communication to support business goals and enhance client engagement.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee marketing automation initiatives and customer journeys aligned with our overarching marketing and business objectives.
  • Mentor local marketing teams and external marketing technology providers with a focus on email marketing excellence and ongoing application of best practices.
  • Partner with Data and Sales teams on governance of segment marketing data to enable 1:1 personalisation informed by clear client journey maps
  • Lead improvement of current processes around email planning, adequate content selection and copy writing, ensuring emails are fully integrated in our wider client facing activities
  • Track and analyse campaign performance metrics, sharing actionable insights with the wider marketing team.
  • Formulate recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness, establish a data-led mindset, and streamline processes.
  • Proactively manage and improve marketing automation workflows, staying ahead of the latest trends and technologies.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests to drive improvements in productivity, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and business growth
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve any platform-related issues.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align CRM activities with broader engagement initiatives.
  • Continuously learn about industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure our email marketing remains cutting-edge.

Experience and qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in email marketing and CRM management, preferably in a B2B context.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful email marketing campaigns, ideally across a multitude of time zones and languages.
  • Data-driven mindset, with hands-on experience in extracting actionable insights
  • Experience managing stakeholders across different regions, driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Experience using data to measure impact and drive improvement
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
