As Content Producer, you will play an important role in bringing Hearing Dogs’ stories, campaigns and mission to life through engaging video and photography content. Working across the organisation, you will coordinate and support the planning, production and delivery of visual content that inspires audiences, raises awareness and strengthens engagement with our cause. You will manage the day-to-day logistics of content production, including organising shoots, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Alongside supporting the creation of compelling content, you will maintain and develop our digital asset library, ensuring photography and video resources are organised, accessible and maximised across marketing, fundraising and communications activities. Reporting to the Senior Content Producer in the Creative Strategy team, you will work as part of a small but busy team on a wide range of public-facing communications that tell the story of the Charity, the people with hearing loss we help and our incredible dogs. Through your work, you will help amplify the voices of the people and dogs we support, showcasing the life‑changing impact of Hearing Dogs and contributing to the charity’s continued growth and success. You will be working on a range of marketing and communications activity across the Charity, so should have the ability to build good relationships with different teams and with the deaf people the charity exists to support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production team with the planning and organisation of video and photography supporting the core business marketing plans, including coordinating and managing photo and video shoots, scheduling, production paperwork, logistics, and briefing contributors.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and help develop clear production briefs.
  • Book and manage photography and videography support for BAU work, either self‑shooting where appropriate or coordinating external suppliers.
  • Assist with the delivery of key projects including Sponsor a Puppy, The Puppy Pen, Lotto / Raffle campaigns & story‑based shoots such as placement week content.
  • Help organise and support social media content production.
  • Maintain and organise the image and video library with support of the wider team, including uploading and tagging assets, managing stock images and footage, and ensuring content is stored correctly within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Support the production team with administrative tasks, including project tracking and scheduling.
  • Assist with equipment management, including kit audits and maintenance tracking.
  • Ensure all video and photo assets are properly archived and accessible for future campaigns and communications.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working within video and photography production environments
  • Sound understanding of HD camera equipment and video production processes
  • Familiarity with video editing and creative software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, with a passion for storytelling
  • IT competency with all Microsoft packages
  • A supporter‑first approach ensuring all supporters always have the best possible experience
  • A ‘Hands‑on’ approach and flexible ‘can‑do’ proactive attitude
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of staff, teams and volunteers

Desirable Skills

  • Formal training or a qualification in an appropriate subject Media, Film Production, Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • Experience of a similar role within the charity sector
  • Experience coordinating projects, schedules or creative production tasks
  • Experience working with DAM (Digital Asset Management) Systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office and production scheduling tools
