Java Engineer in Birmingham

We\’re looking for java engineers to join our financial services client to work across their full stack.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well respected organisation in a full time permanent role (on site).

Essential skillset for the role:-

• Degree educated in Computing or related field
• Upwards of 3 years\’ commercial experience
• Comfortable with java or python (with a willingness / interest to cross train into java if you code with python at the moment)
• Commercial experience with no-SQL databases, for example MongoDB, Cassandra
• Good experience working across the SDLC
• Happy to work 5 days a week at the client\’s office location (no home working, no hybrid supported)

Nice to have:-

• Messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ a plus for the role
• Likewise any experience with API development also of interest
