We are looking for a dedicated, nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Gorefield Primary Academy. This role will involve supporting children in both Reception and Key Stage 1, so experience across the early years and lower primary is essential. You will work 32.5 hours per week, 39 working weeks per annum, term‑time only, including training days, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
Responsibilities
- You will assist the class teacher in the delivery of high quality first teaching, as well as supporting children one‑to‑one in the classroom and at unstructured times as needed.
- You will support children across Reception and Key Stage 1 and help ensure a smooth transition between Reception and Year 1.
- You will work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate a commitment to the school’s vision and aim to raise standards.
