About This Role
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break
- Work Commitment: 39 weeks
- Salary: Level 2 SCP 5 (FTE £23,500.00 subject to qualifications and experience)

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at Gorefield Primary Academy. We are seeking someone with recent, relevant experience who will bring positivity, enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our small, friendly village school. The ideal candidate will have a range of experience across Key Stage 1 and 2, including working with children with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in the delivery of high‑quality first teaching.
- Support children one‑to‑one in the classroom and at unstructured times as needed.
- Work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate full commitment to the school and its aim to raise standards.
