We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, adaptable and caring teaching assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. The role will put the children’s learning and wellbeing at the heart of practice. The position is fixed-term for one year until 31 August 2027, with a high chance of extending the contract. It requires 30.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break, and covers 39 working weeks per year, term‑time only.
We are looking for someone with relevant experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to teamwork in our happy and friendly school. The candidate must demonstrate full commitment to the academy and its aim to raise standards. Roman Way Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, expecting all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
