We are actively seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, dynamic and creative Teacher of Music (with the option of some Drama) to join our vibrant Performing Arts Department. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team and will be absolutely committed to raising the attainment of students of all abilities across the age range. Candidates should be willing to participate in the extensive extra-curricular life of the school and be passionate about helping students discover their musical potential and fostering a lifelong love of music. We are looking for someone to work 0.6 FTE. If you’re passionate about shaping the next generation of performers, we’d love to hear from you!

Candidates Should Be:

  • Passionate about their subject area.
  • Have good knowledge of the KS3 Music curriculum.
  • A confident classroom practitioner able to teach Music in Key Stage 3 (the ability to teach KS4 Music would be advantageous).
  • A team player.
  • Enthusiastic and innovative.
  • Have high expectations of Students.
  • Enjoys the wider curriculum activities for the Performing Arts.
  • Willing to contribute to clubs, performances and competitions.
  • Have experience of being a form tutor.
