We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, adaptable and caring teaching assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. You will put the children’s learning and wellbeing at the heart of your practice. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, hardworking and has a passion for working with children on a fixed‑term for one year until 31st August 2027, with a high chance of extending the contract. 30.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break, 39 working weeks per year, term‑time only.
We are looking for someone with relevant experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to teamwork in our happy and friendly school. The candidate must demonstrate full commitment to the academy and its aim to raise standards. Roman Way Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
