(part time 3 days per week) Flexible working patterns will be considered, both home working and clinic based. Applications are invited for the above post for the London Diabetes Centre, London and Birmingham branches. The Centre is the UK’s only private “one-stop” diabetes service. The service is primarily based in Central London but we serve many of our patients remotely and so we are happy to consider applications from outside of London or Birmingham.
You will be working within an enthusiastic support team of consultants and other health care professionals at the cutting edge of modern diabetes care and often the first to introduce approved treatments. You will provide clinical education and support for adult and paediatric patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and be experienced in insulin pump starts including remote pump starts for suitable patients.
The successful applicant must have proven experience working as a diabetes specialist nurse with clinical skills including advanced diabetes care, paediatric and adult pump starts, remote care and support, and be able to participate in the development of patient education. Flexibility and willingness to be part of the out of hours support rota is essential.
This role will offer opportunities to expand your skills with access to the latest technologies on the market and working with a team of consultants who lead the field. Full time equivalent salary £60,000 per annum.
