We are looking for a talented and experienced Garden Florist to join our busy and growing team, supporting the delivery of exceptional floristry across a unique garden setting. Reporting to the Floristry Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, creativity, and presentation, while offering a warm and engaging experience to visitors, clients, and colleagues alike.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining practical floristry, plant care, and customer interaction in a truly inspiring environment. Working across both indoor and outdoor spaces, you will be involved in every stage of the floristry process, from harvesting and conditioning flowers and foliage from the Cutting Garden to designing and installing arrangements for a wide range of occasions, including weddings, corporate events, and private clients.
You will also contribute to the creation of seasonal bouquets and retail displays, as well as caring for plants within the Service Greenhouse and across site. A strong eye for colour, detail, and composition will be key, along with a solid understanding of horticulture and plant care.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will help ensure that all work is delivered efficiently, sustainably, and to an exceptional standard. This includes managing materials carefully, maintaining organised and safe working environments, and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
You will also have the opportunity to engage directly with clients, colleagues, and visitors, helping to ensure that floristry services exceed expectations and reflect the unique character of the setting. An exciting element of the role is supporting and eventually leading seasonal workshops and floristry experiences, such as wreath-making and cutting garden sessions, helping to bring the craft of floristry to life for our visitors. Full training will be provided to support you in developing this aspect of the role.
Hours: This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to include some weekends.
We are seeking someone with proven commercial floristry experience and a strong portfolio, who is equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You will bring creativity, reliability, and strong organisational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. A positive, approachable manner is essential, as is a willingness to work flexibly, including regular weekends, and to support wider garden and production team activities when needed.
