We have a great development opportunity at The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa for a Kitchen Porter with aspirations to progress with an employer who will support you every step of the way. In addition to your salary, you will receive discretionary service charge and tips that can increase your monthly pay by up to £194 on average.
Your duties will be varied and will include cleaning, mopping, washing pans and operating the dishwasher. The role is very hands on and will give the successful candidate great experience in the restaurant business. You will work over two kitchens: one is a 1 AA Rosette Brasserie and the other is a 3 AA Rosette Restaurant.
The Hotel is a 4-AA Red Star property, situated amidst the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on the banks of the River Wharfe with many great road links to the surrounding towns of Skipton, Ilkley and Harrogate as well as many others. Qualifications and Experience:
The right candidate will be professional, experienced and enthusiastic. You will show passion for the industry and continually strive to improve standards. Any formal qualifications such as an apprenticeship or an NVQ in Professional Cookery would be advantageous.
