The Devon Hotel – Exeter

Hourly rate and hours per week: 40 Hours per week / Salary £29,000 Per Annum.

Responsibilities

  • Producing perfectly cooked meals to our specifications, keeping your work area clean and tidy and maintaining strict allergen controls.
  • Getting ready for the day, setting up your section and preparing for the next day.
  • Knowing what you are selling, with expert knowledge in all things menu related.
  • Restocking your section and coaching the junior team to do so as well.
  • Being an ambassador for the hotel, giving our guests an amazing time with us.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who is passionate about food. If you love to cook and take pride in everything you do then we want to hear from you.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • An interest in helping to shape and develop the next generation of chefs would be advantageous.
