Consultant Dermatologist for Private Practice in Canterbury & Shropshire
Salary/Rate: Uncapped Earning Potential

About the Role: One of the UK's leading private dermatology clinics, specialising in medical dermatology, laser and skin treatment, and medical aesthetic treatments, currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Consultant Dermatologist to be based at our established Canterbury or Shrewsbury Clinics.
What We Offer:
- A flexible terms (employed or through Practicing Privileges) for either part or full-time hours.
- Competitive earnings uncapped, with a fantastic fee structure.
- Day shifts/sessions including some Saturdays.
- A fantastic working environment in an easily accessible location with on-site parking and a fully supported clinic location in picturesque Kent or Shropshire.
In this role, you will work independently, but with a team of like-minded Consultants, offering expert advice during consultations and delivering dermatology treatments, ensuring an excellent standard of customer care is maintained while monitoring your client's journey from the consultation through to the post-treatment aftercare. You will provide services to self-pay, Private Medical Insurance, and possibly the provision of some NHS contracted services. This would be an ideal opportunity for a qualified Consultant to either take on their first private practice or for experienced Consultants wanting to move into a part-time post, as it offers a great opportunity to be supported in an established clinic location. We take a flexible approach engaging with our doctors, who can choose to provide services under practising privileges as a self-employed contractor or can be engaged as an employee.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified Dermatologist on the Specialist Register with a valid GMC number and licence to practice in the UK.
- Ideally experienced in general dermatology and possibly some laser and aesthetic procedures (where appropriate).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
