The Impact You Will Have In This Role

Being a member of the Global Service Bureau (GSB) team, the Senior Analyst is responsible for processing client cases following agreed procedures and established quality standards. Specific responsibilities include the onboarding and maintenance of client’s Standing Settlement Instructions (SSIs) in ALERT, analyzing and mapping client data to ensure that the SSIs are compliant with industry standards and market best practices. The Senior Analyst must remain continuously updated on changes around ALERT Best Practices, market rules, and industry standards. The role requires the highest level of attention to detail. The Senior Analyst should be able to accurately capture and transfer information and instruction from clients to our system, analyze the data, compare it against information sent by the client, identify missing mandatory information and non-compliant data versus validation rules, determine turnaround time targets for assigned cases, calculate fees for billable projects, and communicate with internal and external parties on project progress. The Senior Analyst is expected to maintain client satisfaction during and after the completion of each project. The Senior Analyst role requires knowledge of automation technology and workflows, an understanding of how to perform GSB tasks using the tool, and the ability to evaluate and solve problems to improve the quality of each model to enable accurate completion of client requests.

Your Primary Responsibilities

  • Process all GSB tasks through timely prioritization of assigned cases and adhere to agreed procedures and case management guidelines.
  • Actively manage open cases, taking responsibility for the completion of each case with the highest level of accuracy and within the committed turn-around time.
  • Analyze client Standing Settlement Instructions (SSI) against industry standards and market best practices to ensure accurate mapping of the client’s SSIs in ALERT.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients through timely response and completion of cases or escalating issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders such as Integration, Product Management, Development, and Relationship Managers by providing timely status updates and discussing potential issues that could delay project completion.
  • Actively participate in developing technical and product knowledge, tool proficiency, and soft skills to handle client requests effectively and efficiently.
  • As assigned by the Leadership team, handle complex, high-volume cases such as migrations or maintenance projects requiring thorough analysis of live data, organize client meetings to provide project status, and gather missing information necessary for project completion.
  • Provide support to Global Custodian Projects through data upload and perform data reconciliation when necessary.
  • Ensure timely escalation of potential issues to the Leadership team.
  • Assist in building automation models to improve efficiencies by teaching the ALERT best practices to the tool.
  • Fulfil client requests using automation workflows, challenge the tool to prevent risks, and evaluate the accuracy and performance of the models by analyzing quality checks, identifying discrepancies against the AI tool output versus best-practice guidance, and raising any exceptions to leadership.
