At The Dentist, we believe exceptional care starts the moment you walk through the door. We’re a growing, multi-site dental business across London, and we’re on a mission to reimagine what visiting a dentist feels like!

Our practices are designed from the ground up to feel warm, considered, and human; because we know that for many people, a dental visit carries real anxiety. Every detail, from the environment to the team that greets you, is designed this way. As we expand across the city, we’re looking for people who share that belief.

As our Front of House Host, you are the first face patients see, and the feeling you leave them with is crucial to their entire visit. This isn’t a standard receptionist role. You’ll bring genuine warmth and presence to the waiting room, making every patient feel at home before they’ve even been called in.

Day to day, you’ll manage patient arrivals, take payments, and help organise follow-up appointments — all skills we’ll train you on fully. What matters most is your instinct for hosting and hospitality, and your ability to read a room and lift it.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with natural warmth. You put people at ease without even trying.
  • High energy, genuine presence, and a love of speaking with people.
  • Experience in creating welcoming and comfortable environments for others.
  • A background in hospitality, customer service, hosting, dental or any other guest-facing role.
  • Someone who thrives when they’re the calm centre of a busy space.
  • Organised and dependable. Patients trust you with their time and you can manage the busy space.
  • Keen to learn on the job and learn new systems and tools.

What You Don’t Need:

  • Any dental knowledge whatsoever. We’ll handle all of that. Come from hospitality, retail, events, front-of-house. If you know how to make a space feel alive and welcoming, you’re our kind of person.

We currently operate across multiple sites in London, including Balham, Putney and Earlsfield, and we are actively expanding across the city. This is a great time to join a practice that’s growing.

How to Apply:

Please send your CV and a note on why you think you would be great for the role to - thank you!
