We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Dental Surgeon to join our practice, providing a full range of general and complex dental procedures. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing advanced clinical cases while delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work out-of-hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of general and complex dental procedures, including:
    • Surgical and non-surgical tooth extractions
    • Root canal treatments (simple and complex)
    • Composite bonding and restorative dentistry
    • Diagnosis and management of complex oral health conditions
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patients
  • Ensure the highest standards of clinical governance, patient safety, and infection control
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures, risks, and aftercare
  • Collaborate with the wider dental team to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and licensed to practise in the UK
  • Proven experience in general dentistry and complex surgical procedures
  • Confident in handling advanced and challenging cases independently
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including out-of-hours sessions

Desirable

  • Specialist training or a strong special interest in general and complex dental surgery
  • Experience working in a busy clinical environment
